Dark is approaching!

Just wanted to give everyone an update on the status of Dark: A Horror Anthology... we are still formatting the interior of the book. We have settled on a size. We still have a few submissions being reviewed. And that's about it. Once we are finished putting the interiors together we will see about getting an introduction for the book, and then off to the presses. So stay tuned. Also, if anyone is interested in helping us promote the book when the time comes please get in touch with us.

Behind the Scenes of Dark: A Horror Anthology

I know, I know, I said I would post this like a month ago, but...I'm lazy. Here's a few pictures of what went into making the cover. This is the base art for what became the cover, or the "coming soon" preview of the cover. Basically I transferred my original drawing on to a very nice piece of watercolor paper, where I then colored it in stages. As you can see I tape my artboard to a sturdy piece of cardboard to limit the amount of warping. Some of these came out blurry, and yellow, and I'm too lazy to touch them up. I finished the cover digitally, darkening the trees, adding glowing eyes, and making the fire glow better, and made the smoke look more like smoke, but I didn't take any screen shots of that so you'll have to imagine those parts.

DARK News And Other Stories

So DARK is rolling along. Just got a few more stories to get in and then off to formating. UNTIL then tide yourself over with some stories from our authors.

Hello all and welcome to the blog for DARK: A Horror Anthology. Here there will be news about the upcoming book and also news about our authors. So our first bit of news is that author Steve Wands has finished the cover art for the book. Take a gander below. No street date yet as we're still waiting on some stories but check out how it's shaping up.
